What kept me alive when nothing else could reach me
The work that actually moves what's stuck — and why what you've been doing hasn't fully landed yet.
There were many years of my life I lived in fight or flight.
I could not look more than ten minutes ahead. I could not talk about tomorrow. My nervous system did not believe there was a future to plan for.
I laid awake at night while a partner who regularly wasn’t coming home, went “fishing” for 3 days without a word... I had body-shaking panic attacks under financial pressure that left me crying for hours, unable to breathe... My heart would skip and race and flutter all night long when the panic was at its worst — not just an arrhythmia, but my nervous system playing the rhythm of survival through my chest until morning... I lived through nights of physical illness so severe I thought my body might be giving up... I went through court stress so heavy I thought I might lose my daughter... I had ongoing, recurring nightmares 3-4x per night that I had carried since childhood — the kind of dreams that wake you up afraid to close your eyes again, so you watch cartoons hoping you can forget.
You know when you lie in the dark for hours with your heart pounding and your jaw clenched? Where you finally fall asleep at four in the morning and wake at six with the same loop already running. When your body should be resting and your mind will not stop.
Do you remember feeling a rock in your chest that will not soften no matter how many breathing exercises you do? You know what it is like to brace through your days because your nervous system has not let go in months, or years, or as long as you can remember. Or when you try to get through the simple work of being alive without crying, and failing.
You have probably tried everything. The supplements. The protocols. The meditation apps. The breathwork. The bedtime routine. The blue light blockers. The magnesium baths. The aromatherapy.
Some of it has helped a little. None of it has done the thing your body actually needs.
Meditation does not work when you are in extreme panic. The thinking-mind tools cannot override a nervous system that has decided the world is unsafe. You are not failing those practices. The practices were never designed for an anxious, stressed body in mid attack.
Feeling safe is not a luxury. It is essential to heal, and thrive as a human.
“Experts” taught you to push through. They taught you that healing means more discipline, more supplements, more protocols, more strictness. They taught you that if it isn’t working, you aren’t doing enough. They sold you a stack of inputs and never told you that none of those inputs can land in a body that does not feel safe enough to receive them.
They taught you to override what your body was telling you, and then sold you something else when you broke down.
BUT NO ONE TOLD YOU that the perfectionism you were taught is the thing keeping your healing from landing.
No one told you that you are worthy of healing even on the days you fail your protocol.
Here is what I know to be true, after living it and after walking alongside dozens of women who have lived it too:
Bessel van der Kolk, the world’s leading trauma researcher, has named it for two decades: “Trauma survivors have a different nervous system. It’s not just in your head, it’s in your body.”
Peter Levine, who created the field of somatic healing, put it this way: “Trauma is a fact of life. But it doesn’t have to be a life sentence.”
Protocols don’t land in a body that hasn’t been heard. Supplements don’t work in a body that hasn’t been held. You don’t FIX a nervous system. You let it remember.
IF YOU DO NOTHING, where will your body be in twelve months?
Next year looks exactly like this one — or worse. Six months from now you are still bracing through your days. Twelve months from now you are still lying awake at 3 a.m. with your heart racing and your jaw clenched. You are another year further from the version of you that used to laugh.
And your body is keeping score. Chronic anxiety floods your system with cortisol and adrenaline day after day, and your body responds the way it was designed to — it holds onto weight you cannot lose no matter what you eat, your hunger signals stop making sense, you cannot tell whether you are starving or full, you find yourself emotionally binge eating when you are not hungry or too ridden with nausea to keep food down when you feel starved. The exhaustion deepens. Your middle thickens. The mirror becomes another thing you are bracing against. You blame yourself for not being disciplined enough, when what is actually happening is that your body has decided survival is the priority, and weight and slowing digestion are how it is protecting you.
This is what another year of survival mode costs. Not just in how you feel — in what your body is doing to keep you alive while you push through.
The protocols you have been running are not wrong. They have been doing what they can do without the missing piece in place. You have been buying yourself time and partial progress. You have been listening to your body in the ways you have been taught how. But there is a layer underneath all of that, and until it moves, the rest of your work cannot fully land.
This is why the first doorway [details below] is not another protocol. It is helping your body exit the emergency state it has been living inside. Not by forcing calm. Not by pretending fear is irrational. By giving your nervous system a direct experience of safety — over and over — until rest becomes available again.
I have watched women walk into our circles and feel heat move through their bodies for the first time in years. I have watched my own nervous system settle in 60 minutes when nothing else could reach it. I have watched grown men cry without knowing why as they experienced a release from things they had been carrying for decades. The people who do this work consistently start sleeping. They start being able to plan ahead. They start being able to be in their own bodies again. The weight starts moving. The appetite returns to normal. The middle softens because the cortisol finally drops. They stop apologizing for taking up space. They stop flinching at their own reflection. They remember they are someone they want to be again.
Don’t be one of the ones who keep watching. Who keep reading the emails. Who keep buying the next protocol, the next supplement, the next course. Who never quite step into the room where the actual work happens.
The question is not whether change is possible. You have already seen it happen — for other people. The question is whether you are going to be in the room when it happens for you.
Who do you want to be on the other side of this year?
Reiki did not bring my partner home. It did not pay my bills. It did not heal my illness on its own. It did not win my custody case...
It did, actually, stop the nightmares I had been carrying since I was small in one session though!
But! WHAT REIKI DID DO was put my body into a healing state where I could survive what I was walking through. It kept my nervous system from breaking under the weight. It gave me a place to rest — over and over, sometimes once a week, sometimes more, sometimes self-led in the middle of the night when I needed to channel my own energy to bring myself back from the edge — while I did the slower work of changing the things in my life that needed to change.
No single modality healed me. The whole container of my life did. The reiki was a powerful, consistent catalyst inside that container that took me out of fight or flight and allowed my body to rest long enough to get through to the next step of healing.
If you are wanting to unleash the untamed healer within you and step outside of survival mode and into healing mode, keep reading.
Reiki helped me relax. Reiki helped me enjoy life again after long stretches of bracing. Marilyn’s sessions did real work and I’m not going to diminish them.
But the moment that changed everything was not in her room.
It was a night I was mid-attack — heart racing, body shaking, no one to call. I sat on the floor and put my hands on my chest and stomach and started to draw energy into my body with my breath. My body began to sway. The sway became a wave. I hummed. I rooted into the earth. I held myself. I gave myself the exact thing my body had been asking for, without a single practitioner in the room.
That is the offer.
The 1:1 sessions are the doorway. We help you clear the blocks keeping your healing from landing — the perfectionism, the pushing through, the not feeling worthy of healing yet — and we teach you to read your own body so you can adapt your own protocol, that we co-create, moment to moment, instead of following one assigned to you by someone who doesn’t live in your skin.
But the daily practice is where the real medicine lives. We teach you to channel your own energy. To know what your body is asking for in any state, in any moment, in the middle of the night when no one is coming.
By the end of six weeks, you are the practitioner. You don’t depend on us. You return to yourself.
This is also why I want to be clear about my work in particular, because most people will pattern-match it to something else.
I am not another practitioner you would add to your stack. I am the missing variable that determines whether the practitioners and protocols you already have will actually work for you.
I do not hand you protocols. I teach you to build your own and we co-create it— so that you never need to wait for the next practitioner to rescue you again.
So,
If all this container did was return your sleep — actual sleep, the kind your body has not done in years — would it be worth it?
If all this container did was let you be in the same room as your children without leaking the panic onto them, would it be worth it?
If all this container did was end the search for the next practitioner, the next protocol, the next thing to try — because now you were the practitioner — would it be worth it?
If your body said yes to any of those — keep reading.
Here is what you actually receive over the six weeks:
— 12 sessions with Marilyn [$3,564 Value]
— Initial mapping session with Brittany [$555 Value]
— 5 follow-up sessions with Brittany [$1,110 Value]
— Six weeks of daily live practice — unleashing the healer within, medical intuitive training, and guided energetic self-regulation for you and a support partner where you can learning how to protect your body in real time [$2845 Value]
— Voice note access to both of us Monday through Friday [$1000 Value]
— Functional labs at cost through Rupa Health [$700 savings on a standard workup]
That is $9,774 in tangible value.
You also receive access to thousands of practitioner-grade supplements through our store. The supplement industry is largely unregulated — most retail brands have been shown to contain less than they claim or to be contaminated with fillers and heavy metals. We give you access to the top vetted brands we use ourselves, so the money you are already spending on supplements actually does what it is supposed to do.
One person in your household may step into the container alongside you — a partner, a parent, a teen, an adult child living at home — anyone under your roof who would benefit from learning to channel their own energy alongside you. They attend the daily practice with you. The 1:1 sessions remain yours. The household practice becomes shared. This is the part of the work that often dissolves the loneliness of healing in a household that has not been doing the work with you.
Here is how the work itself is structured:
All sessions virtual. Open enrollment — you start the week you join, no waiting in line while you are in pain.
Marilyn holds 5 of these slots at any given time. Not because we are creating a tactic, but because real work at this depth cannot be done at scale, and her energetic load matters. When the 5 slots are full, the next opening is on the other side of someone else’s completion. Right now there are openings.
The investment is $3,498.
Last year cost you more. The protocols, the supplements, the labs, the sessions, the courses, the time you cannot get back, the energy you spent bracing through your days. The next twelve months of doing what you have been doing will cost you more than this — in money, in body, in the years you cannot recover later, in the lost time with your loved ones.
If you have invested in your healing before — a functional medicine workup, a year of supplements, a coaching program, a course of IVF — you have likely spent more than that on less-lasting work. Most women I see have already spent more than $3,498 in the last twelve months trying to find the thing that finally works. They did not find it because the thing they needed was not for sale at any price. It was the missing variable, and nobody was naming it.
You have the option to book a call below. The call is not for me to convince you of any of this. It is for us to feel into whether this is the right doorway for you, and for us to feel into whether you are the right fit for this work. Your body decides. Either answer is the right answer.
This is for people carrying body-held wounds that the protocols haven’t reached. Chronic illness, chronic anxiety, sleep that won’t come, panic that won’t release, nervous systems that have been locked in survival for years. Spiritually open. Done doing this alone. Ready to learn to do this for yourself going forward.
It is not for people in active mental health crisis or active suicidal ideation — that needs different care, and we will say so honestly. Not a replacement for medical care. Not a guarantee. The body does the healing. We hold the conditions for it.
If your body has been living like danger is always around the corner, this is the doorway. Book a call and we’ll feel into whether this container is the right support for helping your system remember safety.
If you have been carrying this for years and you have been waiting to be met by someone who has been on the other side of it — we are here.
With love,
Brittany & Marilyn
